As a Sales Team Leader, you will support the station team in ensuring smooth operations and a safe, welcoming environment for all customers. You are responsible for:

Leading, supporting and developing a team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service

Taking ownership of the station's performance, safety, and presentation
-
Proactively solving problems and ensuring customers receive the advice, information, and tickets they need
-
Managing operational duties including reporting, incident response, and maintaining station standards
-
Driving a positive team culture and ensuring compliance with procedures and safety requirements
Due to early start and late finish times, you must live locally and have access to independent transport, as public transport may not always be available during these hours.
This role involves working shifts including weekends and bank holidays, and may require standing for long periods.
You'll be a key part of keeping the station running efficiently while supporting your team and delivering a great experience for every customer.
Experience / Skills / Requirements

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

A strong customer-first mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage difficult situations with professionalism

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, which will be assessed as part of the application process

High level of numerical ability and attention to detail

Must live locally and preferably drive to support shift flexibility

Confident decision-maker with the ability to apply company procedures effectively
