Selhurst Repair Shop – Production Leader - Days

We're looking for a driven and safety-focused Production Leader to join our Selhurst Repair Shop on nights. This is a critical operational leadership role, ensuring our rolling stock is maintained, presented and delivered safely and on time—every shift.

The Role
As Production Leader, you will:

Lead nightly depot operations to ensure trains enter service safely and to specification

Promote a strong safety culture and maintain full compliance with all H&S standards

Deliver maintenance and repair activities in line with Fleet standards

Deploy resources effectively to meet production and output targets
-
Monitor contractor and team compliance across safety and operational rules

Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
-
Support and deputise for the Shift Production Manager when required
What You'll Bring
-
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
-
Minimum 3 years' experience within traction & rolling stock

Strong understanding of maintenance standards and railway operating rules
-
PTS and knowledge of rules & regulations
-
Proven ability to lead and influence teams in a safety-critical environment

Confident IT and operational systems user
-
Customer-focused mindset aligned with performance and reliability
