Now recruiting our Strategic Digital Ticketing Manager
To succeed in this role, first and foremost, you will be responsible for delivering digital innovation via our digital channels to encourage our customers to self-serve. Also maximise revenue opportunities via our digital channels, as best in class.
Improve the ticket purchasing experience, so frictionless for customers.
Identify areas for improvement and liaise with suppliers to improve the customer experience and address any customer feedback in a prompt manner to improve the customer experience.
Deliver new functionality and features within agreed times lines, to meet business objectives.
Ensure thorough testing of new features in user acceptance environment before going live in production environment to ensure a seamless launch.
Lead digital SISJ programme of works within the digital platforms, ensuring end to end processes are in place including budget.
You will possess excellent communication skills with an engaging style. Your verbal and written communication skills will need to be top class, as you will be working closely with stakeholders and senior level management.
This is an exciting opportunity as GTR aims to deliver innovation for our customers and enhance the digital purchasing and travel experience.
You will play a key role in shaping the strategy as our customers move to online purchases and mobile ticketing solutions.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Detailed understanding of digital ticketing including ITSO Smart ticketing and barcode, plus conventional ticketing at stations.
- Understanding of the supply chain and governance process with Rail Delivery Group and DfT.
- Understanding of National Conditional of Travel
- Knowledge of Ticketing and Settlement Agreement.
- knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Standard, to ensure our digital platforms are compliant.
- Educated to degree standard or have a recognised relevant alternative qualification.
